AC75 Testevent
Is the AC75 suitable for the MLS? I think so, but there are a few things to consider. In order to be able to handle the flying boats, it is essential that they are sailed more. To achieve this, it would be very helpful if the decision makers of the MLS would support the use of the boat for the MLS,...

Re: Day 3 Blu server Race 2 - Donmasino - Protest Q23
Rule 13: After a boat passes head to wind, she shall keep clear of other boats until she is on a close-hauled course. During that time rules 10, 11 and 12 do not apply. DonMasino never finished her tack because she was not on a close-hauled corse. The sails were flapping the whole time...

Re: Race Committee's response to some suggestions for changes
I am very disappointed with the RC's decision to once again sail the RC44 instead of the AC75. There would have been, in my opinion, enough time to test the AC75 and it would only have been two races if the AC75 had replaced the RC44. Holding a test of the AC75 is certainly a good thing, but as the ...

Re: AC75
I would like to come back to the selection of the boats, after I saw in the calendar of the MLS season 14 that again the old pots will be used. Why doesn't the committee ask the teams involved what type of boats they prefer? I am convinced that very few will be in favour of RC44 and TP52. The introd...

Re: AC75
Unfortunately, the choice of boats for the MLS is quite frustrating for me. As in real life, we who sail foil boats always encounter prejudices (too fast, too dangerous, not suitable for fleet racing, it needs different rules, etc.). I have now sailed quite a few virtual races with the AC75 and it w...

Re: AC75
Dear Goffe and Harald I can understand your arguments and of course it can get tight at buoys and situations can arise which are difficult for the PC to decide. I personally think that this could be alleviated somewhat if the courses had an upwind start and also a normal finish as well as gates upwi...

AC75
As most people already know, there is a new boat (AC75) in the Virtual Skipper. Should we sail this instead of the RC44 in a possible next MLS Season? I would be happy to do so!

It will be difficult to find out how much distance between the boats is enough.
