Facts:
There was mast contact, and any course can't be seen on replay. Therefore Beebop break RRS 13 on Frenito, and pen to Frenito was wrong.

Decision:
Frenito, pen cancel accepted.
Beebob DSQ for breaking RRS 13.

Is it "Beebob", as listed in the results?

Or is it "Beebop", as entered in the protest form?

Which is correct?

Brandon, I don't want to fight with you.

The claim was made by Frenito after a long night of heavy racing.
I think Frenito is sorry to have skinned the name of Beebob.
But I also think that Beebob and the Race Committee don't care about this skinning.

Now, I have several questions for you :
- Have you ever done a writing error?
- What was the aim of your post? To reject the claim?
- Is this the only way for WR team to win places in the ranking? I don't think so...

Sorry, but thanks for not going too far.

Pierre, as I said to Alex Wetstuff in another thread, calm down. I am not attacking you guys.

Yes I have made writing mistakes.

The aim of my post was just to clarify what the Protest committee will and will not throw a protest out over.

In previous seasons I have seen protests thrown out for incorrectly filled out forms, missing or inaccurate/incorrect information. One example that comes to mind was when the incorrect time on the replay was given.

The way the system works is that if they throw your protest out for incorrect information, that's it. You don't get an opportunity to say "Oh shit, sorry, that was a typo."

So I want to know what their attitude is to when you write the wrong boat name.
