Re: Season 11, Day 2, Green Server. Race 1, Protest, LG'07 vs Clande
No traps have been made!
We recognize that Clande made a move to the limit of the regulation but, no one lost positions or took advantage.
In addition, other boats were inward buoy and pushed.

Re: Season 11, Day 2, Green Server. Race 1, Protest, LG'07 vs Clande
Facts:
>Tiki is on starboard layline, fetching the mark.
>Clande is below the layline, not fetching the mark,
>Clande luffs to shoot the mark, and passes HTW.
>When Clande has the mark just to port of his bow, Tiki is aiming at the mark.
>Tiki then luffs, aiming 2 boat widths to the right side of the mark.
>Clande passes HTW back to port, and completes her tack.
> When Clande completed her tack, Tiki was overlapping half of her boat.
Decision:
>Just before Tiki luffed, it was not possible for Clande to pass ahead of her, nor complete the tack to leeward of her, without a course change by Tiki.
>Clande did not keep clear of Tiki and broke rule 13.
>Clande DSQ for breaking RRS 13.
>LG’07’s explanation ACCEPTED.
>No further action.
