7. Boat(s) involved: Team Jedi - Batboat and A2Mover and other

8. Description: Is team racing permitted in MLS? If not please could you clarify if the actions of team Jedi at the last mark of Race 9 was acceptable. This is not a protest but a request for calcification to avoid future miss-understanding. I understand the PC is busy but you have a few few moments to study the incident it would be helpful.

Hi Chris,

There is no specific rules regarding "team racing" in MLS.
This has never been a part of the MLS rules set, at least not after I started participating (4 seasons ago).
And we follow the normal rules, not Appendix D, which is made for the team racing sport.

So if you make a move to benefit your team, it's ok as long as you don't break any of the ordinary rules.

This goes both ways, so if a boat break a rule vs a team mate, she will be DSQ'ed if protested normally by any boat in the race.
The situation will be looked upon just like if the two boats were on different teams.
